PlasmACT is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network coordinated by the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Research and Technology in Greifswald, Germany, in collaboration with four other academic partners:
University Medical Center Rostock, Germany,
Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands,
Centre national de la recherche scientifique, France and
University of Antwerp, Belgium.
In addition to our partners, our project also includes eight associated industry partners and two NGOs.
Our mission is to explore the potential of medical gas plasma technology in treating Actinic Keratosis, a common skin condition that can lead to skin cancer.
Here you will find our latest news about our doctoral network PlasmACT.
The PlasmACT Annual Symposium has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible event it has been! Over the past days, we had the opportunity to share our latest research, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and explore new ideas in the field of medical gas plasma.
From interactive demonstrations to hands-on activities, our team engaged with hundreds of students, explaining how plasma technology is being explored for medical applications. Seeing their excitement as they learned about the science behind plasma was truly inspiring!
Our first project meeting took place in Greifswald where our team of doctoral candidates, academic partners, and industry collaborators came together.
This project has received funding from the
